Our Cosmetic Acupuncture
Concern has shifted from "Is cosmetic acupuncture effective?" to "How can we bring out more effective changes in our faces?"
Therapist introduction page (The therapist in the photo is at our sister store, Ebisu Karacoco )
The most common questions we received in the past were

"I want to have a smaller face!"
"I don't want to grow old"
"I'm worried about swelling"
"I want to improve my skin quality from the roots!!"
I think there were a lot of things like that,
recently,
In recent years, there has been an increase in demand
"I want to have a smaller face, but how can I get the best results?"
"I want to revitalize my skin with cosmetic acupuncture for anti-aging purposes."
"I'm worried about swelling, so I'm watching what I eat, but I also want to improve my physical condition."
"Cosmetic acupuncture + facial work to improve skin quality"
There are more and more talks that are more focused on results.

Nowadays, it has become common to prevent skin problems by improving your physical constitution, such as by changing your diet and getting more sleep.
Cosmetic acupuncture is also starting to attract attention due to this trend and awareness of natural beauty.
In this blog post, we've put together some ideas to help you reclaim your body's natural strength and improve its appearance and function.
From these, we have extracted those that are useful in real life and can be tackled with confidence, and written them into articles.
You can practice it yourself and become beautiful.
If you find some knowledge that interests you or that you think might be useful, be sure to try it out.
No matter how trivial it may be, or how small it may seem silly, please try doing it.
This new (and nostalgic) sensation will surely awaken vitality from deep within your body!!
Whether you are a frequent user of massage or acupuncture treatments or have never been to a traditional treatment center and are receiving a massage for the first time, you may have the following questions:
How often should I go?
These are some of the questions we are often asked by patients coming for treatment for the first time.
" How often should I come for treatment?"
Although you may not say it out loud, you may have the following questions:
"(I wonder how many more times I have to go before I get better ...)"
" I've heard that if you go there too often, it can become addictive ."
"My budget and time are limited, so I would like to know the most effective frequency and number of visits ."
Even professional therapists probably don't have a clear answer.
When you go to a treatment center for the first time, there are probably a lot of things you don't know.
So, is it correct to visit an acupuncturist once a week? Or once a month?
Just how frequently should I attend?
What do you mean by addictive?
Before answering the question of "how often do you go?"
First, we will answer some of the most common questions about acupuncture that we receive.
"If I go too often, will it become a habit (will my body become dependent on the treatment and not be able to cope without it? Also, won't my body's self-healing ability decrease?)" is a question on which there are differing opinions even among us acupuncturists.
■ Acupuncture and Addiction

Q
I heard that acupuncture treatment can become addictive, and once you start treatment you have to continue it forever. Is this true?
A
If by "addictive" you mean "once you start treatment, you feel worse after stopping it than before," then that's not the case.
Acupuncture treatment can have a variety of pleasant effects, such as relieving stiffness, easing pain, and relieving fatigue.
In other words, it brings you back to a state of near health .
And everyone would find that state desirable, and if it is desirable, it seems natural that one would want to undergo repeated treatment to maintain it.
Once you receive treatment, the uncomfortable part of your body will improve and you will feel like receiving treatment again.
Some people may say that this is addictive.
If we think of something similar, taking a bath feels good and makes you clean, so it gives a similar impression to "taking a bath."
No one would think that taking a bath would become a habit.
Unlike drugs, stopping will not make you worse off than before.
You won't experience withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it.
There is no risk of developing a dependency on it.
Typically, the number of treatments will decrease as your condition improves.
If you truly get better, you will no longer need treatment, but if you do not take enough time to recuperate in your daily life, you may experience severe fatigue or illness that you are unable to recover from on your own.
Just as even if you have a cavity fixed, there is a risk of getting another cavity if you do not brush or clean your teeth again, some people end up needing maintenance to recover from fatigue, which is why they come to our clinic.
In fact, hard-working people tend to require more frequent maintenance, and I think this is natural.
There is no need to worry about becoming addicted to acupuncture treatment.
I mentioned this earlier because it is very important , but please keep in mind that it is deeply connected to what I am about to say.
Now, here comes the main topic.
■ Frequency of receiving acupuncture treatment or cosmetic acupuncture
Q
How often should I receive acupuncture treatment?
A
Depending on their physical condition, most patients come in for treatment once or twice a week, and once or twice a month for health maintenance or performance improvement.
In cases of acute and severe symptoms, such as a slipped disc (acute lower back pain) or a stiff neck, we may provide treatment every day for a few days, or every other day, but otherwise, most patients come to the clinic once or twice a week.
If the illness is under control or is chronic, treatment should be once every 2-4 weeks , and during that time the patient should receive moxibustion, facial stretches, and yoga at home.
If the patient lives far away and cannot visit the clinic often, we may ask them to only remove the acupressure points and apply the moxibustion themselves. In such cases, the patient may only visit the clinic 2-3 times a year .
Even if you only visit the hospital occasionally, your condition will often improve if you take good care of yourself.
Recently, people have been incorporating yoga, jogging, and other activities into their daily lives, and bodywork for health and wellness rather than treatment has become popular.
This is a general trend from my experience,
The frequency of treatments varies depending on your physical condition.
You should discuss with your therapist what is appropriate for you.
Generally speaking, the more frequent and more frequent the treatment, the better the outcome.
Conclusion
It can be used as a one-time medication to relieve relaxation, stiffness, and fatigue .
For beauty , you should continue once every 2-4 weeks for 8 weeks. The important thing is how well you can establish self-care and change your habits during these 8 weeks.
*For a more efficient commute schedule, see this article
For those who are aiming to repair or improve their physical constitution , we will carefully examine your body over a period of about six months. The frequency of visits is usually once every four weeks or once a month.
